My Wish - Rascal Flatts
and each road leads you where you wanna go,
and if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,
if it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile.
But more than anything, more than anything...
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
your dreams stay big, your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
and while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.
I hope you never look back, but you never forget,
all the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
and you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
and always give more than you take.
But More than anything, yeah, more than anything...
Yeah.

I am so with you on that! :)The lyrics are ahh-mazing. The rest of that album is unbelievably key-you-te too!
Like there's this grandma song called Ellsworth and it goes like this...
"Grandma burned the biscuits
nearly took the house down with it.
Now she’s in assisted livin’
we all knew that day would come.
We knew she was to gone to drive
the day she parked on i 65.
Found her on the shoulder cryin’
she didn’t know where she was.
Its like her mind just quit.
Oh but bring up grandpa- its like someone flipped a switch.
A front porch light and a blue Desota,
couple a straws in a coca cola:
you can see it all goin’ down.
A handsome boy in army green
a tear on his face- down on a knee,
shaky voice- a diamond ring she'll put you in that town.
Tomorrow she won’t remember what she did today,
but just ask her about Ellsworth, Kansas, 1948."
I wish more lyricists were on the same wavelength and wrote about something as heart-tugging and endearing as their grandfather's proposal!
And then there's "To make her love me"
"I've seen what you can do
I've seen you make miracles
And hopeless dreams come true
You made the heavens and the stars
everything,
Cmon how hard could it be
to make her love me"
Too key-you-te again!
And I know this comment is long already but it's going to get longer! :) Sorree! I don't know how you stopped yourself at just one song... I have no control!
The icing on the cake for me is "What hurts the most". I know it's been overplayed and that sorta made it lose it's popularity but I don't care! Must...fight...impulse...to...include...lyrics...here! Not only do the lyrics to this song get to you the music video does too!
Bouquets and bouquets out to Rascal Flatts!
